Honoring Ipu: Volcano Art Center Exhibit Features Gourd and Fiber Artist Jelena Clay

The exhibit, which features gourds decorated with pyrography and fiber by Jelena as well as ipu heke and umeke by Kalim Smith, is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm through April 22.


Living the Volcano Lifestyle

When we moved to Volcano a couple of months ago, we were familiar enough with the community to know we looked forward to this new adventure. After all, my son and his family live here–what’s not to look forward to? What I couldn’t have anticipated was what a vibrant community it is.
