The Clark Realty Corporation Community Fund was established in January 2005 as a component fund of the Hawai'i
Community Foundation. Contributions made to the Clark Realty Corporation Community Fund will be used to make grants that
support Big Island programs promoting lifelong learning, healthy lifestyles and an appreciation of the local environment,
culture, the arts and social needs.
Clark Realty Corporation has a long history of supporting community activities where its employees live and work. This Fund creates an even greater opportunity for Clark agents, staff and clients to connect with their community through charitable giving.
"It's been a dream of mine to establish a company-wide program of giving back to the Big Island community that would appeal to our agents and staff and perhaps even to our clients," said Putman Clark, President. "We set up the fund to work through the Hawaii Community Foundation, a well-established, respected leader in managing charitable giving throughout the state."
"One of the strongest precepts of Clark Realty is the importance of caring for each other and for our island," Clark observed. "We're very proud of our agents and staff who commit many hours of their limited personal time to help community organizations island-wide. The Community Fund honors their leadership by making it even easier for all of us to give to the people of the Big Island who give so much to us," Clark concluded.
The Clark Realty Corporation Community Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation and all gifts are tax-deductible.
